Overall Job Purpose:

To act, as a specialist lead on licensing matters, supporting the effective delivery of the Local Authority's statutory licensing functions and licensing services. Provide leadership, mentoring, development and support to Licensing Officers, including shared responsibility for the wider team's performance, resilience and operational delivery. To manage a personal caseload of licensing matters, taking appropriate action, including enforcement activity where necessary and proportionate
